Explore with Roddy the key elements in setting up your bagpipe and produce a stable and resonant tone from your pipes. The discussion will range from influences Roddy has had, his bagpipe set up and methods of working with reeds.
Roddy MacLeod MBE, Glasgow, Scotland is considered to be one of the most accomplished pipers of his generation and a highly regarded teacher, recitalist and adjudicator. Uniquely, he is a Grade 1 Championship winning Pipe Major and a five time Glenfiddich World Solo Piping Champion and in 2012 he was inducted into the Scottish Traditional Music Awards Hall of Fame.
CLASP members can take part in this fantastic talk, which will take place on Zoom. Tickets are £5 for this great talk, which will take place on Sunday 21st November, 7pm UK time.
